ES3RF HAM radio station

Did not compete, just participated. On 80, 20, 15 and 10 meter only. 40 meter band vertical Cushcraft R8 antenna did not worked at all. 538 QSO, low power (around 100 W). Couple of tables, prepared by "Log Analizer 3.2" - online tool by DL4MFM.

Antenna  DXer-206 suddenly stopped to work: the SWR rise up to infinity during my FT-8 mode operation on 20 meter band. What was happened I discovered when lowered the antenna. Looks like the balun was not simply burned, but exploded! This balun is designed for input power up to 5 kW, but I applied no more than 800 W. It was happend just a day before to CQ WW CW Contest. I had not anything to replace, so prepared simple "ugly" balun from piece of RG-213 coax.  5 turn, diameter 100 mm. Look like work good. Below is a SWR test whole system (including 28 meter of cable to the shack): Sure, not the best especially on 20 and 17 meter, but better, than nothing. I will try to do something better in a wormer time. But 25th of November the temperature outside was -3 degrees, windy and snow. But, at least, it gave me the opportunity to work in CQWWCW Contest in LP class. Total 536 QSO and 202070 points.

 Hi!   My name is Gennadi ("Gena" in the air) and I am in a HAM Radio since 1959.   Started on the club station UA2KAP, Kaliningrad obl, Chernyakhovsk city. Firs license in 1962 (novice, callsign UA2ACS , only for 10M band and VHF. In 1966 I've obtained calsign UA2CS , which was in use till 1974. Since 1974 I am in the air as UR2RGM (Tallinn, Estonia). After Estonia returned independance in 1991, the callsign was changed to ES1RF . Since 2006 I'm relocated to my VHF location not far from Tallinn, there I using callsigh ES3RF. Now this is my main position with a well equipped shack and antenna farm.   I am a member of Estonian Amateur Radio Union (ERAU), my national qualification class "A", CEPT license class "1" .  I am QRV on all HF bands, VHF-UHF-SHF, sometimes on the satellite QO-100. Main interest on the Moon Bounce (EME). But with a pleasure I participate in HF-Contests (CW only!), also like a meteor scatter and do not like FT8 mode! Especi...
